Haridwar, literally means 'The gateway to the Gods,one of seven sacred cities of India lies 214 km northeast of Delhi, Haridwar is situated on a 3 km stretch of the banks of the Ganges River in the foothills of the Shivaliks.It is located on the right bank of river Ganga and from here the holy river spreads over the northern plains.

According to a mythological legend, Prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to Saint Kapila's curse. Bhagirath was blessed and the holy river descended on the earth and its water revived the sons of King Sagara. Following the tradition of Bhagirath, devout Hindus stand in the sacred waters here, and pray for the salvation of their ancestors

Kankhal Near Haridwar

Kankhal is an ancient small town adjoining Haridwar. The town of Kankhal is situated at 5 Km from Har-ki-Pairi. The place was once the capital of King Daksh the father of Parvati. DakshMandir, Sati Kund, MaaAnand Mai Ashram is situated here.

Tour Itinerary

Day 01: pick up from Haridwar railway station/Dehradun airport & drive to haridwar.check in Hotel,after rest can go for evening ganga aartidarshan at HarkiPauriafter that Take Dinner ,night halt in haridwar..

Day 02: After Morning breakfast Local sight seing in Haridwarlike as Mansa devi,chandidevi,Dakshamahadevtemple,Hariharashram,anandmayi ashram Kankhal,Bharatmatatemple,vaishnodevitemple,shantikunj,pawandham,bhumaniketan&Rajaji National Park, back to hotel .

Day 03: After Morning breakfast will going to Mussoorie via dehrdun,sahatradhara,praksheshwarmahadevtemple,mussoorie lake check in hotel and after fresh up will going for local sight seeing of mussoorie like as, CamptyFall,Mussoorie mall roadafter that back to hotel in Mussoorie.

Day 04: After morning breakfast and lunch will drop atHaridwar railway station/Dehradun airport.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation before 30 days of start date will be charged processing fee equivalent to 10% per person.
• Cancellations between 20 days to 30 days before start date, 25% of tour cost would be charged as retention
• Cancellations between 15 days to 20 days before start date, 50% of tour cost would be charged as retention
• Cancellations made within 15 days of start date, entire tour cost shall be charged as retention
• Above policy may vary during peak season

What to know before you book

• Hotels are subject to availability.
• It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in.
• The identification proofs accepted are Driving License, Voters Card, Passport, Ration Card. Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in. Note- PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
• All transfers and sightseeing are as per the Itinerary/package.
• The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a folding cot or a mattress as an extra bed.
• Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargable by the hotel. The standard check-in time is 12:00 PM and the standard check-out time is 10:00 AM.
• Any kind of personal expenses (Laundry, room service etc..) or optional tours/ extra meals are not inclusive in the package cost.
• The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Gangotri Travels will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.

In case of non-availability of above mentioned hotels similar category hotel will be provided.
